We're gearing up for a very special First Friday, Nerland Agency is presenting their HOME Poster Show—20 local artists have designed 20 handcrafted silkscreen posters—the proceeds from sales are to benefit United Way of Anchorage's 'Walk for Warmth', to help Alaskans who need aid with keeping the heat on for their families during these winter months.
Music will be provided by wildly talented electro-acoustic violinist, Bryson Andres. Light appetizers will be provided, beer & wine available for purchase.

What are your plans for Valentine's Day? Here's the deal—Grab your girlfriends, round up the guys, or bring your sweetie down for breakfast or lunch for Snow City's 'DINE OUT FOR EQUALITY' which is an effort by local restaurants to support the One Anchorage initiative.
A portion of the proceeds for the day will go to this cause: to provide gay and transgender Alaskans the same legal protections afforded the rest of us.

THE ONE ANCHORAGE INITIATIVE is a grassroots campaign made up of everyday Alaskans, LGBT, faith, political business, labor, and minority community leaders. We come from all walks of life but share a common goal: to provide the same legal protections for gay and transgender Alaskans that we already provide to women, minorities and others. The One Anchorage initiative will be on the April 3, 2012 Municipality of Anchorage ballot.
