Artist Statement
I visited Bhutan for 3 weeks in November 2005 and came back inspired and excited about the many images I brought home. Bhutan straddles the Himalayan Massif to the east of Nepal, sandwiched between Tibet and India. It is a small, lovely, Buddhist country that offers much to the traveler willing to make the effort to explore its truly exotic setting and people.
I am particularly happy to be able to share these images with my fellow Alaskans and I would hope that some of you may be inspired to visit or learn more about Bhutan.
