Artist Statement
Printmaking at its best it is a meditative practice. I find art and music to be a quick salve for the soul. I can often lose myself in the process of printing. I create art out of hope to look within with love and look outward with courage. Sharing my work has become another way to brave the world with all its’ problems as well as celebrate the beauty in our everyday lives. I collect art myself because it always brings me joy. I believe every home deserves original art on the walls to nurture our appreciation of beauty.

Contact the Artist
Snow City has been showing original local artwork since we opened in 1998. We are truly grateful to all of the artists who have shared their work with us, everything from incredibly colorful quilts and marionettes
to beautiful watercolor and oil paintings.
During the winter months we host Alaska Quarterly Review on First Fridays with readings and eclectic music. Check out what's coming up at AQR
