Artist Statement
I am interested in painting people in their own personal moods. Each of us live within an ever-changing ‘atmosphere’ that shifts with every interaction we have. Yet each of us also have a favorite flavor, a space that is simply our own. The people who sit for me, be they friends or not-yet-friends, all show me something interesting about their approach to life. Hopefully this comes through in the paint. Enjoy.

Snow City has been showing original local artwork since we opened in 1998. We are truly grateful to all of the artists who have shared their work with us, everything from incredibly colorful quilts and marionettes
to beautiful watercolor and oil paintings.
During the winter months we host Alaska Quarterly Review on First Fridays with readings and eclectic music. Check out what's coming up at AQR

On the First Friday of every month, Anchorage's local galleries,including Snow City Cafe, stay open late, show off their new art and,usually, offer free appetizers. This monthly Gallery Walk is always fun and well attended.

- • Snow City takes 20% commission
- • Artist must sign an Artist Contract
- • Artist hangs and takes down all work on specified dates
