New website!

Today is the big day for our new website! It’s been fun working with Taughnee Stone at Endeavor Creative to make this happen. I don’t think we changed the content on our old website for three years and now we’ll be changing it weekly. Obviously our weekly specials will be updated but we’ll also have this blog available to tell you about the latest happenings at Snow City. We’ll also post employee and customer photos and hope you will feel free to post your comments and photos of you wearing Snow City gear.
So here’s what’s happening this week...this Friday, 4/6, is the Art Gallery Walk. We’ll be featuring the work of Julie Bourbeau. She does some really cool mixed media, which includes painted aluminum, to make brightly colored fish wall hangings. The show is 5:30 - 8 PM and we’ll have appetizers so come on out. Also, every Wednesday night, the Irish musicians and dancers come to the cafe for Traditional Irish Music Sessions. We had some great posters made by MadDog Graphx to start promoting this event again. We haven’t done any advertising in years and the usuals that come every Wednesday want to see some new faces so come on down!
Next Sunday is Easter. This is a great day to come to the cafe because we are typically not very busy. Everybody likes to go to the big fancy champagne brunches and we end up kind of slow. The servers are planning on wearing flowery dresses and bonnets just for fun (they like to dress up every so often—last time was Pajama Day). I think we’re having some Easter specials, I’ll know for sure later today, and we have a new champagne drink that the staff loves—the Snow City Royale—Odwalla Pomogranite Juice, champagne and raspberry crumbles. Yum City!

Wow, this website is cool. It must be exciting having your own web page. I have a comment on the menu. I think you should bring back the French Dip and the Brownie Sunday. But the web page is sssooo awsome!!!
So how do I respond to a comment? Is this right? Thanks Alex and Cris for commenting on my first blog. This is very exciting!
As for the French Dip and the Brownie Sundae, have you tried the Roast Beef with Bleu Cheese. It’s awesome and it comes with au jus for dipping. Try it and let me know what you think. The Brownie Sundae is still available. We have everything but no room on the menu. Just ask your server.
How do I add a smiley face? Does it indicate something besides a smile? Forgive me, I’m new!
